Clinical Pathology, Microbiology and Clinical Laboratory Medicine are my preferred subjects. I got training from Armed Forces Institute of Pathology Pakistan and was certified as Pathologist in 1986. Same year I got diploma in Pathology i.e., MCPS Member of College of Physicians & Surgeons, Pakistan. Then I did my M. Phil in Pathology Microbiology & Parasitology in 1994. Since then I have been working as Clinical Pathologist & Microbiologist in various clinical labs of public and private sectors. I have also been involved in teaching Pathology to medical/dental students as well as students of Medical Laboratory Technology since 2000. Since 2007 I am working as Head of Pathology Department at French Medical Institute for Mothers and Children FMIC Kabul. Also I have been performing additional duties of Director PGME Pathology & Chair Infection Control. FMIC is also managed by Aga Khan University Hospital. I am very keen to learn and to share & contribute knowledge. I am result oriented, energetic and competent professional and love to work in a multinational health industry. My management experience is coupled with both health industry and military. I am extremely organized and dont leave things unfinished. I take pride in my work and perform my duties meticulously. I am detail oriented, well organized, and able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure as a team player. I have got extensive experience of Teaching Pathology/Microbiology and imparting training in Medical Laboratory Sciences Clinical Pathology, including Haematology, Blood Bank, Clinical Microbiology, Parasitology, Serology, Clinical Biochemistry and Molecular Pathology. I am well-groomed educator who is able to develop & implement Medical Laboratory Technology Course, PGME Program in Pathology and Infection Control Program, to achieve sustainable results in line with any organizational objectives. I believe in training others to lead by sharing knowledge, and teaching skills. I am always willing to learn. I am able to adapt and change as the situation requires and overcome objections and negativity. I am fully acquainted with cultural differences in Asia & Europe by virtue of working with different Nationals while employed in French Medical Institute for Children FMIC Kabul since 2007. I have been working as Chair Prevention & Control of Infection PCI Program for the last 8 years and Chair PCI chapter of JCIA for the last 3 years.
