Tehreem Mujeeb
I am Masters in Biotechnology and currently working as Research Assistant in Dow College of Biotechnology, DUHS. I have performed isolation, identification of microorganisms, check different parameters to enhance the production of lactic acid from sugarcane molasses using Plackett-Burman methodology, also run samples for HPLC, prepared samples for HPLC, performed microbiological test, biochemical characterisation and lactic acid assays, maintaince of cultures, learned how to use Gene5 program on spectrometer, I have practiced the Plant Tissue Culture Technique, DNA isolation, PCR and Electrophoresis in my internship from PCSIR, also skilled in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Clustal W, Microsoft PowerPoint, Biochemical and microbiological techniques . I have completed my thesis on topic “Production and isolation of Dextran from microbial sources isolated from milk and grapes" in which I have performed isolation and identification of microorganism through Gram staining and biochemical characterisation, estimation of reducing sugars by DNS method, total protein estimation through Bradford method, Production, Precipitation and Purification of Dextran through chilled ethanol..I am Masters in Biotechnology and currently working as Research Assistant in Dow College of Biotechnology, DUHS.
