Successfully commissioned AMMONIA STORAGE area containing two screw COMPRESSORS used to liquefy ammonia vapors, STORAGE TANK(5000 MET capacity), EXPORT PUMP submergible type 165m3/h flow and FLARE.
AMMONIA BOOSTER COMPRESSOR
Reciprocating PD Compressor
This section consists of Electric motor driven, P.D compressor to handle Ammonia vapors generated during flashing of ammonia for storage purpose.
Screw Type PD Compressor
Screw type positive displacement compressor. Motor driven screw compressor.
Synthesis Gas Compressor
(04 stages Centrifugal Comp with Horizontal & Vertical Split Casings) Turbine Driven (KS Steam driven with the combination of Extraction and Condensing turbine) having capacity of 2,70, 000 / 9,20,000 Nmc/hr and power of turbine is 32 MW. Taking suction at 31 kg/cm2 and making final discharge pressure at 196 kg/cm2. Dry Gas Seal Arrangements.
Process Air Compressor
(04 stages Centrifugal Compressor with Horizontal Split Casings) Turbine Driven (HS steam driven with combination of induction and condensing turbine) having capacity of 74,000 Nmc/hr and absorbed power of turbine is 14 MW. Takes Suction at 0.9 kg/cm2 and making final discharge pressure at 37 kg/cm2.
Ammonia Gas Compressor
(02 stages Centrifugal Compressor with horizontal Split casing)
Turbine driven (HS Steam driven with combination of condensing turbine) having capacity of 58,000 Nmc/hr and absorbed power of turbine is 05 MW. Taking suction at 2.0 kg/cm2 and making final discharge pressure at 17 kg/cm2. Dry Gas Seal Arrangements.
