Job Brief
We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer who will be involved throughout the development life-cycle with particular responsibility in the Quality Assurance of software with emphasis on development and implementation of test automation.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and work on existing frameworks for test infrastructure
Create and maintain automation test scripts with object oriented approach
Execute automated scripts in areas involving installation, functional performance and load testing
Create test reports
Ability to train others regarding automation test concepts, providing guidance and direction as per need
Work in a team environment
Coordination and prioritization of test development activities and the ability to work with multiple development teams and software projects
Contribute toward predictable delivery of quality releases
Research, recommend and implement tools as needed with the goal of increasing automation
Ability to perform security testing on web applications, mobile applications, APIs and servers
Able to create detailed pen testing report with POCs and remediation
Train people on security testing
Required Qualifications
Strong background and at least 4+ years of working on automation tools & technologies
Thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically automation processes in agile development environments
Strong object oriented concepts and implementation
Experience in writing, executing and monitoring automated test suites
Hands on experience (but not limited to) on selenium with Java, Appium for mobile platforms
Expertise working on JS based automation on any tools e.g. protractor, cypress
APIs & performance tests on Postman, Rest Assured, JMeter etc.
Knowledge of CI, CD on Jenkins & Bit Bucket pipelines
Must be familiar with different security testing tools i.e. BurpSuite, ZAP, KaliLinux, etc.
Strong working knowledge of testing fundamentals such as BDD, Test driven and other approaches
Proficient working with relational databases such as SQL, Oracle
Strong communication & problem solving skills
