Community Mobilization Officer

Effectively supervise ,trained and facilitate village Activist (VA) and Village WASH Committees(VWC).working dedicatedly with VC on PLA and develop, implement school and village EH Plan
Conduct training of selected community activists (change agent) on health and hygiene promotion to enable them to conduct onward sessions to target communities.
Raise WASH profile of target area by implementing CLTS/SLTS PHAST approaches effectively and declared villages as Open defecation Free
Conduct quality health and hygiene sessions in communities to ensure that target population are mobilized and adequately informed regarding health and hygiene issues related to water supply, sanitation and solid waste disposal.
Support community activists in record keeping, liaison with social welfare, PHED and other line departments.
Participate in the development of Village WASH plans in collaboration with the community as needed
Coordinate with technical staff responsible for construction of water & sanitation structures in the target areas
Collect and prepare case studies and success stories during the project life
Organize WASH related events effectively and efficiently on need base
Participate in the development of IEC material on WASH with Hygiene Promotion Manager
Provide accurate and timely reporting of field activities to Hygiene Promotion Manager
Perform other duties as assigned.
