Medical Transcriptionist

A renowned medical establishment in Lahore needs a Medical Transcriptionist. The candidate must be a resident of Lahore and should be able to:
- Accurately transcribe physician's dictation of medical office visits, including incoming correspondence and x-rays.
- Handle touchscreen tablet and Softwares for dictation.
- Set up and maintain medical files and databases, including records such as x-ray, lab, and procedure reports, medical histories, diagnostic workups, admission and discharge summaries, and clinical resumes.
- Transcribe dictation for a variety of medical reports such as patient histories, physical examinations, emergency room visits, operations, chart reviews, consultation, and/or discharge summaries.
Skills Required
Excellent command of English language.
Familiarity with medical terminology.
Typing speed of 45-50 WPM at least.
MS office competency.
Reliable computer and UPS/Power backup system required at home.
Training will be provided.
Ability to work longer hours as the working hours are subject to increase depending on the workload.
