We are thrilled to offer an internship opportunity for an ambitious candidate to join our team as a Tax Intern. As an intern in our Tax Department, you will gain hands-on experience and contribute to various aspects of tax-related tasks, setting the stage for a promising career in the field.
Key Internship Responsibilities:
Assisting in the preparation and filing of monthly sales tax returns Federal and Provincial.
Learning the ropes of Income Tax Return preparation and filing.
Supporting the team in the preparation and filing of quarterly advance tax working.
Gaining experience in the preparation and E-filing of Withholding Tax Statements.
Assisting in ensuring compliance with notices/audits/orders from Federal or Provincial authorities, including data compilation, review, and submission within tight deadlines.
Engaging in any other tasks assigned by the Head of Department.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Enthusiastic about learning and gaining practical experience in tax compliance.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
