JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for a hardworking, smart and over achieving Sales Engineer with a passion for selling technology solutions to Major Industries.
You will be responsible for selling into new prospects as well as farming back into existing customers to ensure high renewal and customer satisfaction levels. Measures of success include new customer acquisition rates, renewal rates, up-selling, cross-selling, customer satisfaction and contribution to overall sales team and business success.
Successful candidate will have a combined remuneration package based on salary & commission.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers.
• Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements
• Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery
• Help clients solve problems with installed equipment
• Recommend improved materials or machinery to customers, showing how changes will lower costs or increase production
• Help in researching and developing new Market
• Develop lead, prepare & present quotation, secure order & execute it all the way to delivery & payment receipt.
• Work on own initiative in a high-stress sales environment and multitasking seeing the lead convert into an order all the way to delivery and payment receipt.
• Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
• Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
• Searching for new clients who could benefit from your products in a designated region
• Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
• Managing and interpreting customer requirements with the Ability to sell solutions to meet customer needs
• Persuading clients in product replacement, retrofit & upgrade so they understand the product or service will best satisfy their needs
• Calculating client quotations & Negotiating tender and contract terms
• Offering after-sales support services
• Administering client accounts
• Responsible for Profit & Loss accounts.
• Preparing reports for Management
• Meeting regular sales targets
• Recording and maintaining client contact data
• Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
• Present products or services in your industry that would be beneficial to your client business
• Develop products or program suggestions for clients and successfully sell them
• Stay knowledgeable your fields updates in science and research by continuing to read and study new data
• Acquire new customers by winning them over from competitors and discovering new opportunities
