Job Role
We are seeking an experienced UI UX Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications
Position Type: Full Time onsite
Location: Karachi, Pakistan
The Role – Purpose & Responsibilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and user requirements and translate them into design solutions
• Design and create wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces for web applications using tools like Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and improve the user experience
• Create and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across multiple applications
• Work closely with developers to ensure that the design is implemented correctly and meets functional requirements
• Monitor and analyse user feedback and usage data to identify opportunities for improvements and new features
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design and apply them to improve design processes and techniques
• Communicate design decisions and rationale effectively to stakeholders and project team members, including developers, product managers, and executives.
Qualifications/Skills required
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a portfolio that demonstrates a strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and a track record of delivering high-quality design solutions.
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and InVision. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is also preferred.
Strong skills in visual design, layout, typography, color, and user interface design. Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design solutions to stakeholders.
A deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, and the ability to apply them to real-world design challenges.
Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to identify and solve complex design problems through user research, prototyping, and iterative design processes.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to effectively present and defend design decisions to stakeholders.
Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team, including designers, developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
Adaptability: Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities, and the willingness to learn and adapt to new design tools and technologies.
A genuine passion for design and a strong desire to create beautiful, intuitive, and user-friendly products.
